What exactly is meant by "Ursan".
I've been playing a while and I should know this, but I don't think I do. I know there are Ursan spells but what exactly is meant when a player is "ursan"? My ele had a all-out nuking build and a person in a PUG I was in asked me to ping and went on about it being an 'ursan' build or something like that... I may be quoting her incorrectly. I had NO clue what she was talking about.
Sorry for the dumb question. I looked all over this website and Guild Wiki trying to find a definitive answer. -Falynn |

[ursan blessing]
There is also "stuff" like weapon sets and the occasional refrain, but mostly it is carrying that skill. |

An "ursan" is a player with a high ranked norn title. And the skill [Ursan Blessing] with some other random spells. its not so amazing though.

Ursan refers to "Ursan Blessing," an ancient fighting style that utilizes three fingers on the left hand to pummel, knockdown, and intimidate through yelling. It is a complex mixed martial art that has the negative side effect of lowering your IQ by 35 points while in Ursan form.
Prolonged use of this fighting style has been known to cause injuries in muscles and joints, and in some cases shrinkage of the male genitalia. |

"Ursan" is the latest fad for a button-pushing, high-damage build that any character can use. If you have a whole team of them with a monk or two for healing, proponents think you can steamroll almost anything without having to think.
When you start Ursan Blessing, you basically only have to keep using the first three skill slots. As long as you are taking damage, the "blessing" continues. Is it good or bad? That depends on each player's viewpoint. The less-knowledgeable players love it and the more-experienced ones hate it.
